Fall in PEI

This October/November we were able to spend a month helping doing maintenance around the property at a Bible camp on the shores of Prince Edward Island, just west of Charlottetown.

It is such a beautiful property there on the ocean!  We spent many hours with the girls discovering shells, crabs, oysters, clams, hermit crabs, periwinkles, and sticks when tide was out.

They even made fishing rods out of sticks and pine-cones and went 'fishing'.

Tristan worked on the pool deck. The old deck boards surrounding the pool were getting old and splintered and needed to be replaced.

Tristan ripped up all the old boards and cut new deck boards to replace them.

He also was able to help by leveling out the blocks under some of the cabins, and some other little maintenance things. Katie worked on the website in that month and got it up and running.

Our sprout #4 learned to crawl at this camp and the big girls learned about low and high tide. We so enjoyed out time at this camp, being able to be a blessing, taking time with our family, visiting a couple different churches and making some new friends, and spending some time with the director and his family (they have 4 kids under 6 too!) It was great to see the girls learn more about the ocean and grow in confidence.
