Cape Breton Bible Camp

The beginning of October we drove over the the most eastern tip of Nova Scotia, on Cape Breton Island to Cape Breton Bible Camp, located near Sidney.

It is a beautiful camp property overlooking the water, with the cabins, kitchen and lodge all in a log cabin style. The director and his wife along with their 3 young kids lived there at the camp and it was a real pleasure getting to know them a little bit! They were so accommodating and helpful and it was so apparent that they loved Jesus.

What we helped out with there was finishing off a staff cabin.

We drywall mudded, primed and painted, and installed trim around the room and windows.

We didn't have enough time to complete the bathroom but were able to get the other two rooms done.

We took some time to play together as a family, looking for crabs, and shells, and getting plenty of water in our boots!

We worked hard and played hard. It was such a fun week in a beautiful camp and we hope someday we can go back!
