Kakabeka Falls, Ontario

Our first stop of interest after leaving Manitoba was at Kakabeka Falls, right off the highway!

We had traveled this way many times as a kid (we used to travel from Alberta to Ontario a lot) but never stopped in here.

It is a waterfall and dam with a campground.

It was the kids first introduction to waterfalls and landscape other than flat Manitoba fields. We spent the night at the campground and enjoyed our time there immensely!
